Pavel Terakopov was born in Moscow and attended Moscow University of Electronics and Mathematics, where he received a Bachelor’s in Applied Math. At the age of 23, he moved to the United States and has been happily living in Los Angeles ever since. During his career, Pavel worked as a software engineer/architect for several companies, including Washington Mutual, General Electric, Countrywide, and Realtor. He joined Input 1 as a Senior Software Engineer and played a key role in taking PBS live. Shortly after, he was promoted to lead, then manager, and finally, AVP of Software Development. Among many accomplishments at Input 1, Pavel is most proud of building an outstanding team of exceptional software developers to support and develop the largest and most complex system he has ever worked on. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking in the shop he built in his garage and traveling abroad.
